Active mainly in the 1920s and 1930s, Carl Franz Moos designed not only remarkable posters for Swiss travel resorts, but also attractive advertisements for various fashion boutiques, such as this poster advertising boys’ and gentlemen’s fashions from the Gränicher fashion store in Lucerne. The Gränicher family business was founded in 1891 and still exists today.

Carl Franz Moos was born in Munich in 1878 and died in Zurich in 1959. He worked as a painter, graphic designer and stage designer.
