About this poster
This brightly coloured lithograph was designed in the 1930s by Fritz Meyer for the Braunwald Railway. A rarity, not least because Fritz Meyer is mainly known for designing product posters from the 1950s. It seems that he initially devoted himself to painting and designing travel posters and only later turned to product advertising. This Art Deco poster "Glarnerland" from the 1930s with a picturesque view of a Glaronese mountain peak is unique in terms of design and colour, a beautiful and rare stone lithograph.
