About this poster

The Grisons village of Arosa was discovered as a health resort in the 1880s and steadily gained popularity in the following decades. Ernst Emil Schlatter, who developed new techniques for the use of colour lithography in poster art at the Wolfensberger printing company in Zurich, created this attractive design to advertise the popular resort in the 1930s.
