About this poster

Walter Herdeg’s photomontage for St. Moritz shows bright rays of sunlight pouring over the top of a mountain. The sun motif is the recurring hallmark of Herdeg’s St. Moritz posters and was registered with the Swiss Federal Agency for Intellectual Property, making it one of the earliest applications of corporate identity to a travel destination. Even in small format, this vintage poster for St. Moritz has a touch of nostalgia.
