About this poster
Carl Pavelka was a student of the master Otto Baumberger at the Zurich School of Design. He worked as a book illustrator, stage designer and graphic designer in addition to his main job as an industrial designer at Brown, Boveri & Cie. (BBC). Pavelka created hundreds of paintings, but this advertisement for Meli apple juice was one of his very few posters.
