About this poster

The Basel poster master Herbert Leupin created advertising for Eptinger mineral water for almost 40 years, from 1941 to the end of the 1970s. This poster from 1945 is probably the most impressive: on a green background, Leupin sketches water bubbles, showing how the freshness of water can be conveyed with a minimum of design elements and no verbal messages. The Eptinger poster from 1945 is rightly considered one of Leupin’s best.
