In the 1950s, Lake Biel was rarely advertised as a travel destination. This rare poster by the Biel designer Walter Zulauf shows an idyllic view of the lake with St. Peter island seen from the northern shore and invites the viewer to take a boat trip or a scenic hike between steep vineyards and old wine growers’ villages.
