About this poster
Lahco was founded in Baden as a knitwear and hosiery factory in 1922. Gaining success from the 1950s, by the 1970s it was the most successful Swiss swimwear label on the European market before declining again in the following decades. Since the 2000s, new owners have breathed lew life into the traditional Lahco brand. On this 1952 poster by Marcus Campbell, a pretty young woman models the latest bathing fashion – huge sunhat included.
