For the concert in Willisau with the US composer and multi-instrumentalist Anthony Braxton - together with the Austrian jazz musician Adelhard Roidinger and the British drummer Tony Oxley - Niklaus Troxler designed the highly original poster for their jazz event in 1989.

Niklaus Toxler, born 1947, lives and works in Willisau, Lucerne.
He was trained in typography and graphic design at the art school in Lucerne; from 1967 to 1971 he worked as an art director in Paris; in 1973 he opened his studio for graphic design in Willisau, where he mainly works for cultural and music events, like the Willisau Jazz Festival, which he founded.
