About this poster
Château d'Oex is located in the Vaud Alps, only a few minutes away from Gstaad. Famous for its hot-air balloon event in summer, it is also popular in winter for holidaymakers who want to enjoy skiing away from the high-society resorts. The talented graphic designer Alex W. Diggelmann designed exceptional posters in the 1930s. This perfect colour lithograph from 1933 showing a ski racer in front of the Gummfluh mountain is a rarity.
