The advertisement with the jumping woman was a figurehead for the health resort of Flims for many years. In 1933, Jules Geiger photographed Dorly Meyer-Hartmann, a 22-year-old gymnastics instructor, on the turquoise and exceptionally clear Alpin lake Cauma. Little did she know that she would become an icon; the picture was put on cards and posters and she was recognised as “the Ipanema girl from Flims” by a whole generation.
