Born in the Zurich area, Giuseppe Reichmuth is a provocative painter, an artist with a great sense of humour, which is probably also due to his Italian roots. His painting of the dinosaur on the motorway or his well-known work Zurich Ice Age have become symbols of the youth movement of the 1980s. With his works and his later exhibition in Zurich's Stadthaus, the rebellious artist wanted to shake things up with subversive charm... The original posters for the Zurich Jazz Festival or the Zurich Theatre Spectacle are vivid examples of Reichmuth's memorable design style.
