After all, besides skis and poles, one thing is indispensable for winter sports: protective sun cream. The cream tube, popular with athletes in the 1940s, becomes the body of the snowman and is at the centre of Hamol's advertising message, accompanied by an attractive young lady.

Herbert LEUPIN was born in Beinwil am See in 1916. He lived in Basel and later in his life he moved to the Italian part of Switzerland, where he died in 1999.
