About this poster
Born in Bern in 1943. Painter, graphic artist and designer. He has lived and worked in Geneva since 1971 and won first prize for graphic design in the competition for the Swiss National Bank's new banknote series. From the beginning of his career, Roger Pfund concentrated his activities on the cultural field, designing posters for music, theatre, humanitarian actions and museums. Among other things, he was the author of "Itineraire pour les Droits de I'Homme", a book under the patronage of the State of Geneva to mark the 50th anniversary of human rights. A master of "Swiss Graphic Design", a graphic designer with conceptual strength and unadorned objectivity and a passionate jazz musician died in spring 2024.
