The Zurich graphic designer Ralph Schraivogel is always convincing in all of his cultural posters by applying design and production methods together with his knowledge of the theme. Most of his works are done “by hand” and feature a highly creative typographic composition, like this poster for the 1996 John Ford film event at the Zurich Filmpodium.

Ralph Schraivogel was born in Lucerne in 1960 and lives in Zurich. He has devoted his career to designing posters for nearly a quarter century, and taught Design at Zurich’s School of Design and Berlin’s University of the Arts.
