About this poster
Mass products were advertised on a large scale during World War II, and Sunlight soap was among these cheap consumer goods for everyday use. The proliferation of advertisements such as this one from 1943 contributed eventually to Andy Warhol’s pop art paintings of consumer products in the 1960s.
