About this poster

With these works as well as with his theoretical publications, Müller-Brockmann proved to be one of the protagonists of the international Swiss style, along with Armin Hofmann from Basel. This strove for a clear and structured design even of complex contents. Distracting elements were avoided, the eye was to be directed to the important contents through great clarity and care. Through the influence of the trade schools in Zurich and Basel, the style became widespread and enduring.
