Iwan E. Hugentobler is considered one of the most distinguished horse painters of 20th century Swiss poster art advertising horse racing and events. Hugentobler, who worked for the Swiss racing industry for several years, designed most of the posters in the 1920s, 30s and 40s such as for various show jumping competitions in the 1930s.
