The film noir screenings at the Filmpodium Zurich are making cult history. The graphic artist Paul Brühwiler has designed some remarkable posters for the Filmpodium and the Kunsthaus Zürich that are iconic. One example is the motif created in 1995 for the American retrospective of films by the American film director Alfred Hitchcock.

Paul BRÜHWILER (pabru) was born in 1939 in Lucerne, where he lives now. He completed a traineeship as a graphic designer in Lucerne and trained for 5 years with Création Hollenstein and Edition Condé Nast in Paris. Between 1965 and 1973, he worked with various art studios in Los Angeles (Ray and Charles Eames, Carson/Roberts ad agency).
