With this colourful poster by Rolf Dürig, the SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) celebrated the 75-year anniversary of the Gotthard railway line. The line had been completed in 1882 and the SBB had taken over operations in 1909. The poster shows the destination for travellers from the North: the sunny southern Ticino with its palm trees and colourful villages.
