About this poster

Amusing original poster by George Dola for the operetta "Qu'en pensez vous", which premiered in 1929. The story is about a young orphan girl, whose fantasy and very modern temperament make her godfather, a baron on the comeback trail but still gallant, and her godmother, who only dreams of spiritualism, go crazy; they would like to marry her to their liking; she prefers to marry to his; but everything is arranged as well as possible, the two suitors having no reason to quarrel. The original coulour lithograph from 1929 ist in perfect condition, backed on an acid-free new linen.
