The visual communication and advertising of La Rinascente department store chain was almost always thematic, as is this poster promoting the store’s fashion department. Lora Lamm developed the visual concept, finding inspiration in new ideas from abroad or international magazines such as “Art Directors Annual”. Full of originality, poetry and humour, the works of Lora Lamm feature a sensitive graphic language.

Lora Lamm was born in Arosa in 1928. In 1953, shortly after finishing her studies at the Zurich School of Arts and Crafts, she moved to Milan, where she worked at Studio Boggeri.
