There is lots to see in this original belle-epoque poster showing the bustling harbor at Como: steamboats, 1900s fashion, a bicycle, a shiny new automobile and, interestingly, electric cables! Nowadays we do our best to leave cables and power lines out of our travel images, but here they serve to show - alongside the various modern means of transport - that Como is a highly modern travel destination … with electricity!
