Georg Staehelin was born in 1942 in Basel and lives and works in the Zurich region.
He was trained at the Fachklasse für Grafik at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Basel, worked in Paris, Amsterdam and London and taught at the Schule für Gestaltung in Zurich. He opened his own graphic studio for visual design in 1977. He has had various exhibitions and received gold medals for his work.
