About this poster

This magnificent poster for the Jungfrau Railway, designed in watercolour by Emil Cardinaux in 1928, shows a group of people standing under a huge Swiss flag enjoying the breathtaking view from the Jungfraujoch. This glacial saddle in the Bernese Alps has been the highest point in Europe accessible by train since 1912 and is called the "Top of Europe". This is the smaller format of the original poster.
