About this poster
Hans Falk was not only considered one of the best poster designers in Switzerland from the 1940s on, but was also one of the most important Swiss artists of the 20th century. The sketch-like style of his paintings can also be found in his posters, as in this lovely advertisement for the 1950 “Internationale Musikfestwochen Luzern”, which today is called the Lucerne Festival.
