Noël Fontanet was one of Western Switzerland’s most prominent graphic designers. His posters for equestrian and automobile sports are highly inventive and feature perfect typography. Fontanet’s Geneva Grand Prix poster from 1946 featuring the motorcycle with the number 14 is a masterpiece of Swiss poster art.
