About this poster
For a few years after the Second World War, Geneva hosted Grand Prix races. The Grand Prix des Nations of 1948 saw the Italian Giuseppe Farina win and the Swiss Emmanuel de Graffenried come in second, both in Maseratis, which looked similar to the car pictured in the background of the poster. This vintage poster designed by Geneux featuring the race car with the number 2 is unsurpassed in its dynamism. This perfect stone lithograph from 1948 is an extraordinary Grand-Prix-Poster and a rarity.
