Posters advertising cities in the 1930s were and still are a rarity. The small budgets of the time were much more likely to be spent on ‘tourist advertising’. The perfectly colour-coordinated Art Deco poster by Hans Schär from 1936 for Bern with the Berne cathedral, the Nydegg Bridge and Untertor Bridge is a perfect stone lithograph.
