About this poster
The Arena di Verona is a historic open-air theatre that hosts operas, ballets, concerts and other shows. It is a well-preserved Roman amphitheatre in the historic centre of the Italian city of Verona and a symbol of the Venetian city along with the characters of Romeo and Juliet. Every year, the traditional Italian operas by Puccini and Verdi are performed in breathtaking scenes. The rare original poster was designed by Tomino Ruzzenente in the 1950s.
