About this poster
This 1931 poster lithograph for Andermatt by Alex Diggelmann features a sign showing the elevation of Andermatt and indicating its proximity to the St. Gotthard pass. The stripes are in the Swiss flag colours and the shadow of the sign falls onto a pair of ski tracks in the snow, which shows it is a winter sports resort.
