About this poster
The Swiss watch brand Alpina was founded in 1882 and became famous for its characteristic red triangle. Today, the fine watch manufacturer is based in Geneva. A true pioneer of the Swiss watch industry, Alpina is the source of numerous patents and invented the legendary Alpina 4 in 1938 as the concept of the Swiss sports watch as we know it today. This rare original poster advertised the Alpina precision watch in 1946, which was on sale at the two Bieri and Furrer shops in Lucerne.
