About this poster
This spectacular original poster from 1922 advertised the Golden Pass Route operated by the Montreux-Berner Oberland Railway. It has been possible to travel by train from Montreux to Lucerne since 1916; at the time, passengers changed trains at Zweisimmen and Interlaken. This poster shows two fashionably dressed ladies admiring Lake Geneva and the Dents du Midi mountain range through the large window of the luxuriously appointed train. Rarity.
