Walter Ballmer emigrated to Milan in 1947 and was hired by Adriano Olivetti for the company's communications department in the late 1950s. Over the following decades, Ballmer designed iconic posters characterised by the interplay of graphic design and photography. This poster promoted a small exhibition at the Zurich Museum of Design on the occasion of Ballmer's hundredth birthday.
