About this poster
This original lithograph by Armin Bieber depicts a mountaineer in the Grindelwald region. The man appears to have reached his destination and is neatly coiling his rope around his ice axe. Soon he will be able to rest and take in the view of the famous, spectacular Wetterhorn peak, which can be seen behind him. This striking image with a limited colour palette conveys a sense of adventure in an iconic part of the Swiss Alps.
