About this poster
An unusual photographic winter sports poster for Swissair. With the aeroplane only in the form of a small icon, it features a snowy mountain scenery with a small group of ski tourers and the talented, pretty ice dancer Barbara Ann Scott, who won the 1948 Olympic Games in St. Moritz. In 1950, Swissair had discovered a new selling proposition and started promoting Swiss winter tourism.
