About this poster
Born in Lower Austria in 1949, the caricaturist, graphic artist and musician Manfred Deix was politically engaged, an animal lover and often provocative with his idiosyncratic stage designs and a style reminiscent of the witty, almost childlike ‘Deix figure’, which his poster for the Zürcher Theater Spektakel from 1987 also recalls.
