Julien Sorel is the protagonist of The Red and the Black by Stendhal, published in 1830. Originally, the novel was meant to be eponymous. Perfect silkscreen poster from 1988.

Karl Domenic Geissbühler was born in Winterthur in 1932, worked and lived in Zurich.
He was educated at the art schools in Zurich and Berlin, started working as graphic designer with an advertising agency and founded his own studio in 1976. Since 2012, the graphic design studio has been managed by his daughter.
