Before an Alpine backdrop, an allegorical child figure rides on a lion, Zurich’s heraldic animal. The company of the brothers Fretz, founded in 1860, was known for working with talented artists. In this case the printing company worked with Carl Franz Moos to create a small-format poster to advertise its own services. A rare historical document from the Jugendstil era.
