About this poster

This classic, rare stone lithograph from the early 20th century was designed by the famous and talented Zurich poster artist Otto Baumberger. It shows the arrival of a Lake Zurich steamboat at Bürkliplatz, with its fashionable passengers walking out onto the quay and the snow-covered Glarus Alps in the background. This original poster from the golden age of Swiss poster advertising was lithographed in 1916 at Wolfensberger and is an absolute rarity.
