About this poster
Herbert Leupin found an especially attractive and original way to advertise Zephyr shaving soap: the brand name is placed like a foamy dollop of shaving lather on top of the brush. The slogan of this original vintage poster promised a clean, fast and smooth shave with Zephyr.

Herbert LEUPIN was born in Beinwil am See in 1916. He lived in Basel and later in his life he moved to the Italian part of Switzerland, where he died in 1999.
