About this poster

After training as a graphic designer, Werner Jeker worked in various advertising agencies and opened his own design studio ‘Les Ateliers du Nord’ in Lausanne in 1972. Until the turn of the millennium, Jeker was a lecturer at various art academies, developed an independent graphic language influenced by the Swiss style and an original approach to photography and was awarded the ‘Exceptional Use of Photography in Graphic Design’ prize by the International Centre of Photography in New York in 1988. The clients for his posters mainly come from the cultural sector, but also from the fashion and interior design industries.
