About this poster

The American Lewis Edson Waterman founded the Waterman company in 1883 and produced the first fountain pen with a steady and even flow of ink. Waterman is one of the few pioneering writing utensil manufacturers that still exist. Wilhelm Friedrich Burger, known for his precise painting technique, created an impressive poster for "Waterman's ideal fountain pen" - a rare stone lithograph from 1911 and in perfect condition.
