Artist: József Divéky

Born in Hungary in 1887, József Divéky studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1905 to 1907 and then at the Vienna School of Applied Arts until 1910. He moved to Switzerland in 1919; from 1941 he taught at the School of Applied Arts in Budapest. He also worked as a book illustrator and published in various journals. József Divéky died in Hungary in 1951.
