About this poster
In the early 1930s, various efforts were made to promote tourism in the Vallée de Joux in the Jura mountains of the canton of Vaud. A part of it was poster advertising such as this beautiful, rare design by Eugène Perrenoud showing a family, perhaps from Lausanne or Geneva, enjoying their summer holidays on Lac de Joux at the foot of the Dent de Vaulion mountain.
