In the midst of the heyday of Swiss poster design, the Swiss artist Hugo Laubi achieved a creative masterpiece: he designed the poster featuring the Türler man, who made a significant contribution to raising the profile of the traditional family business that has manufactured and sold watches and jewellery since 1883. The graphic artist Isabella Kaiser incorporated the Türler man, now the company logo, into her eye-catching 1986 design to symbolise continuity but made the image more contemporary, more fashionable and therefore more attractive a younger clientele.
