This lovely poster was designed by Alois Carigiet for the former Truns cloth mill. Carigiet, a famous Swiss painter and artist, worked as a graphic designer until World War II, creating many travel and product posters. In 1960, he moved back to his native village of Truns in the Grisons to focus solely on painting.

The famous Swiss artist Alois Carigiet was born in 1902 in Trun, Grisons, where he died in 1985.
Carigiet worked as a painter, designed a number of books for children, including the famous „Schellen-Ursli“, and became a freelance graphic designer in 1939. Carigiet also designed several travel and product posters. In 1960, he moved back to his native village of Trun in Grisons.
