About this poster

This original poster from 1964 represents an interesting bit of swimwear history. Lycra had first come up in 1959 and Triumph had only just launched its first swimwear line in 1962. This stylish 1960s swimsuit vixen has wrapped her hair in a kerchief and wears a bowler hat, on top of which she has rested her large sunglasses. A bold and striking fashion choice that contrasts the daring and eye-catching holes on the side of her swimsuit!
