Iwan E. Hugentobler was one of the most prominent horse painters in 20th century Swiss poster art to advertise equestrian racing and events. Hugentobler, who worked for the Swiss racing industry for many years, designed most of the equestrian competition posters of the 1920s, 30s and 40s.
