As in many of his posters, the brilliant poster artist Herbert Leupin combined two different graphic styles in this original vintage poster for the Globus department store: a giant, hyper-realistic Swiss franc coin, has a cartoon-like smiley face. A humorous and inventive visual representation of the advertising message.

Herbert LEUPIN was born in Beinwil am See in 1916. He lived in Basel and later in his life he moved to the Italian part of Switzerland, where he died in 1999.
